CRUISIN' IN TINLEY
 
Come June, Oak Park Ave may look like a scene out of the 1950's or 60's, despite the modern amenities in the area.  
 
And that's exactly what officials are hoping for with the introduction of 
Cruise Nights in Tinley Park.
 
Tinley and Bremen VFW Post 2791 will hold Cruise Nights, a gathering of classic vehicles in downtown Tinley Park, starting Tuesday, June 7th from 5-9 PM 
every Tuesday through  August 30th.  
 
Food and beer will be served 
at the VFW hall.  
 
There are also a number of restaurants along Oak Park Ave.  
 
A DJ will also be present on Cruise Nights.  
 
They anticipate the cars will be parked on the east side of Oak Park Ave, and 172nd Street will be blocked off 
entirely for the event.
